This is beautiful. The carving is great, and the finish/polish on the wood is just gorgeous.

Fastening design. I'm sure you took a lot of time in carving this, are you comfortable with the inevitable darkening that the cherry is going to have as it ages?

Well, wood lives... I don't know what it's going to look like, but I don't think it'll be so bad... ;)

No, I don't think it will be bad either, it will age and perhaps no one will notice.

You surely can.. ;)

I'd be glad to do one for you.

A pencil case like the ones I did would roughly range from 100 to 200+ Euros, but it all depends a lot on the decorative carving. I'm currently trying to improve my skills and rapidity in the box creation process.. Let me do another couple of cases, I should then have a more precise idea about the price and possibilities.. ;)

Thanks!

It takes about 5 to 10 hours, depending on the motif.

But I'm still learning and tend to be faster with every new box.
